The Caraga region is the newest region in the Philippines and is composed of 5 provinces: Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte and Surigao del Sur.

The land inbetween the red lines is for sale or for lease. It is situated right next to the Butuan City Hall complex and right next to the museum. Places nearby are the Balanghai Hotel and Convention Center, the market and the bus station. Butuan City also houses the first university in the region. Butuan City is located at the northeastern part of Agusan Valley in northern Mindanao, sprawling across the Agusan River.
It is bounded to the north, west and south by Agusan del Norte, to the east by Agusan del Sur and to the northwest by Butuan Bay.
